The picture above is about the Chap Goh Mei celebrations which also the day for those who want to discover more new relationships. No doubt, writing phone numbers on the mandarin orange is the way as shown in the picture above. Three people are holding an orange on their hand with happy smile face. It successfully showed the excited, happy and satisfaction feeling of them when picked up a ' numbered orange' from a pond. The person who own those numbers are the new relationships and destiny to them. The destiny is on their hand. Moreover, from the picture, it clearly shows that male and female celebrated Chap Goh Mei together. They both can pick the 'numbered oranges' which lead them to their next destiny.

Cons

Instead of the pros, the picture above show some bad elements.First of all, the picture didn't have a very clear and easy understandingdesign of picture. It takes readers some time to really understand the content of the picture and what it means. The readers need to read the title or the content of the news in order to know the meaning of the picture. Therefore, the picture is poor in showing the content of the news directly. The three people in the picture are holding the mandarin oranges with written number. However, it don't have a direct sign or key to show that this was a Chap Goh Mei celebration. Not only the other race, but the chinese themselves also may not understand the picture because most of the new generation today they don't really practise those traditional routine in their life. Instead of just holding the mandarin oranges, one of them should hold a banana to show that banana is the other fruit that used in the Chap Goh Mei celebrations. Other than that, the picture is just showing three people with close-up shot instead of a large group of people playing with the mandarin oranges. It is hard to bring out the celebration atmosphere at the place.
